No Place Like Home

No Place Like Home:

  The assignment was to paint our shoes, and at first I

wanted to paint my neon green converse because

I think that they are awesome, but everybody

decided to paint converse so I decided not to.  In looking

at my culture I discovered that crew is a major part of my culture

and I absolutely love it so I decided to paint the shoes in the

boat. I started painting them and realized that all the colors

were dark and gray in the picture, which are the actual colors

of the shoes, and I wanted them to show how awesome crew is,

how happy I feel when I row, and how much fun it is so I made them

rainbow. This is by far my favorite piece, though I could fix many things about it.It is acrylic paint.
