This is my very first painting. I completed this piece as a freshman in Art Foundations.

And this is my most recent painting.

I think I have grown quite a bit between then and now. Now I can blend colors, have better and more meaningful ideas, and have improved mechanically as well. IB has opened my mind to my own style and ability to research and explore cultures and the art styles associated with them, and I would still be at my freshman level with out this class.
